Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") before using TextPolisher ("the App") or the textpolisher.app website ("the Site"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Subscription and Payment

TextPolisher requires a subscription of $1 per month. You may download the App and evaluate it before subscribing. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access until then. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months, except where required by applicable law.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on macOS devices you own or control, subject to these Terms. You may not:

• Redistribute, sell, or sublicense the App.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
• Remove or alter any notices or branding in the App.

3. Requirements

The App requires macOS 26 (Tahoe) or later and Apple Silicon hardware with Apple Intelligence enabled. Features that rely on Apple Intelligence are subject to Apple's availability and terms. The App is not responsible for changes to Apple Intelligence availability, functionality, or access.

4. Your Content

All text you process with TextPolisher stays on your device. We have no access to it. You retain full ownership of any content you create or edit using the App.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Generate or distribute content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.

6. No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. The quality of rewrites depends on Apple Intelligence, which we do not control.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App. Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (which is zero).

8. Third-Party Services

The App uses Apple Intelligence (subject to Apple's terms) and optionally Ollama. The Site uses Cloudflare and Microsoft Clarity. We are not responsible for the practices or terms of these third parties.

9. Updates and Changes

We may update the App or these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date when we make material changes.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to discontinue the App at any time without notice. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
